March 14, 2022 -The following statement can be attributed to Windsor–Tecumseh PC Candidate Andrew Dowie:

“I wish a warm welcome to my friend and colleague Gary Kaschak as the appointed Windsor–Tecumseh Liberal candidate for the 2022 Provincial Election.

But the record is clear with respect to the Wynne-Del Duca Liberals’ and Horwath NDP lack of support for the Windsor–Essex Regional Acute Care Hospital Plan. After years of frustrating inaction and false hope under the previous Wynne-Del Duca government, Premier Doug Ford secured the necessary funds to deliver to Windsor-Essex the $9.8 million needed to launch planning for the Regional Acute Care Hospital Plan, and in response the Liberal and NDP members voted against this funding.”

Only Andrew Dowie and Premier Doug Ford can be trusted to deliver the Windsor-Essex Regional Acute Care Hospital for Windsor–Tecumseh. Mr. Kaschak cannot reverse the clear and consistent refusal to fund our Windsor-Essex Regional Acute Care Hospital Plan by the Ontario Liberal Party.
